Job Overview

As a Mechanical Engineer at Packfeeder, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of high-performance mechanical and robotic packaging solutions. You’ll be responsible for creating detailed models, conducting engineering analyses, and ensuring manufacturing excellence while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your expertise in materials, quality control, and compliance will drive product reliability and innovation. With a strong focus on efficiency, precision, and sustainability, you’ll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge industrial machinery to the global market.

What You’ll Do:


???? Design & Development – Create and refine mechanical designs and 3D models using CAD software, developing prototypes and conducting performance testing.
???? Engineering Analysis – Perform stress, strain, thermal, and structural analyses to ensure reliability, durability, and efficiency.
???? Manufacturing Support – Optimize manufacturing processes, select materials, improve methods, and collaborate closely with production teams for seamless implementation.
???? Project Management – Oversee timelines, budgets, and resources, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.
???? Quality Assurance – Implement quality control standards, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with specifications and industry regulations.
???? Technical Documentation – Prepare detailed design specifications, user manuals, and maintenance guides for internal and external use.
???? Compliance & Sustainability – Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and safety codes, while integrating sustainability best practices where possible.

Requirements

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in mechanical design, engineering, or manufacturing.
✔ Advanced proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
✔ Strong analytical skills, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail.
✔ Expertise in manufacturing processes and materials science.
✔ Solid project management and organizational abilities.
Fluent in English and Spanish with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
✔ Experience in quality control and assurance.

Bonus Points:

Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
